Becky Derksen: I am a self-conscious 17 yr. old girl who wants to feel better about herself. I feel that I need to be happy with myself before I can truly feel happy around my friends and family. I believe with God's help, I can get through this depressing stage of my life and learn to accept myself for who I am. Slowly but surely.
